"Country Boy (You Got Your Feet in L.A.)" is a song written by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter, and recorded by American country music singer Glen Campbell. It was released in October 1975 as the second and final single from the album, Rhinestone Cowboy.

This was yet another huge hit for Glen Campbell, one of the first Country artists to experience crossover success, and it's one of his most introspective. He sings about having achieved success and wealth beyond his wildest dreams, but he has lost something of himself and his roots in the process and is wondering why he isn't fulfilled by his stardom.

Glen Campbell played on recordings by the Beach Boys, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Ricky Nelson, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, the Monkees, Nancy Sinatra, Merle Haggard, Jan and Dean,[19] Bing Crosby, Phil Spector, Sammy Davis Jr., Doris Day, Bobby Vee, The Everly Brothers, Shelley Fabares, The Cascades, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Wayne Newton, The First Edition, The Kingston Trio, Roger Miller, Gene Clark, Lou Rawls, Claude King, Lorne Greene, Ronnie Dove and Elvis Presley. He befriended Presley when he helped record the soundtrack for Viva Las Vegas in 1964. He later said, "Elvis and I were brought up the same humble way – picking cotton and looking at the south end of a north-bound mule."

Jerry: @onefortheroad This song has to be confusing to you as you've never been to, nor seen, or looked at a map to know where LA and Tennessee are. Living in the Arizona desert and picking prickly cactus needles out of your feet just doesn't get it where you're singing about. But let me help: both are in Canada...so get in your 1962 Yugo and enjoy a vacation. This is a good song; Glenn was an expert musician and vocalist, and I'm glad you posted it. You sang the 'snot' out of too! Great job

Keith Wallin: @jerry Hey, Jerry. It's you ground pounders that have never since a patch of dirt that you didn't like. All you guys see is the ground beneath your feet. However, the "sky's no limit in the Air Force." How did you know about my Hugo. You been in my garage again?....lol Appreciate the humorous comments and your kudos as well. This was one of Glen's best imo. Have a super upcoming weekend, buddy....:-)
