"Letters from Home" is a song written by Tony Lane and David Lee, and recorded by American country music singer John Michael Montgomery.

It was released in February 2004 as the second single and title track from the album of the same name. It peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in 2004 and also reached number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest-ever peak on that chart.

The first time I heard this song, the tears just kept flowing. It struck a very emotional chord with me. It still does....:-) Keith

Keith Wallin: @mikie Hi, Mikie! First off....THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! I am a Viet Nam Era vet myself. My job in the Air Force was to man Titan II Missile silos for 24 hours at a time.
