When a kid, my Grandparents moved from the canyon ranch, into a small home in a smaller town. An old woman lived nearby, sniffed snuff all day, leaving stain under her nose. Always wearing a bonnet, she was very small and originally from England. She swore they came from England by crossing the ocean by covered wagon. Sadly, being gullible at age of 6 or 7, believed her. She seriously believed it herself. Then, she'd take a tiny 'snuff spoon' up to her nose and repeat. Memories...
