I can't sing this song, without memories of my Grandpa Jack 1877-1958, who raised me.
Pete Sullivan and Son's Owned Cattle land, Missouri, Kansas, Oakholma.
Grandpa Jack was on the last cattle drive of long horns from Texas to Dodge.
Grant was the Gun fighter; not sure he was as handy as Pete.
Jack shot a fella in a gun fight, Told the guy, I'll give ya 5 bucks if ya don't press charges.
the guy said, give me 20, Grandpa told him, you will take 5, ya Son of a Bitch or I'll shoot ya again.
Later they became friends. he asked the guy what he did with the 5, the guy laughed said bought
new cloths and a pint of whiskey ... Jack never owned a gun after that. afraid he would kill someone.
This is a duet, Rick gets to yell yeah ,, well he works cheap
