Written and performed by Townes Van Zandt ...released in 1972...
Covered 9 yrs later by Emmylou Harris and Don Williams..
In a private concert in Houston..Townes stayed he had a dream where he was a folk singer singing this song..and when he woke up he wrote it down and picked up his guitar and started playing it....
This song was new to me when Mark suggested we try a duet...
I loved the song when I heard it....
Many thanks to Mark for his excellent vocals and superb mixing skills...
