Here's a song I just recorded tonight in honor of the late, great Burt Bacharach and Hal David! I heard this on the radio, growing up back in the 60's. It's been sung many times by different artists. I didn't realize until just now, reading about it, that it was an anti-war song. When I was young, I just thought it was a song about love, like so many 60's songs (not that I really thought about the lyrics). It's still relevant today, whether it's about wars or not. Hope you enjoy my version! I felt like singing and recording for a change. I've never recorded this one or sung it in live karaoke before. I'll have to give it a try next time we're out!
