Let me tell you about Louisiana John Poteteet , I got back to Portland, been in Reno. Dropped in to see John.
He talked about his EX Bunny, and said I'm heading up to see her. I had to see this gal named Bunny. By way John was 20yrs older than me a WWII vet. So we went to bus Depoe, Paul drove us. I'n the rest room, Paul pulled out a flask. Security threw us all out.
So on way back . we passed the freight yard. I said Lets grab a freight John, Sure so off to Spokane we went, about 300 miles.
Bunny was a nice gal a friend of my Mother it turns out. Well we stayed a couple days. John ask Bunny to drop us at freight, as we enjoyed the ride there. Well I asked a guy which train to Portland. He said this one, it was doing like 30mph.. I ran grabbed a flat car rung. it drug me like 1/2 mile for i got on. I looked back John didn't make it..Got to Portland, it didn't slow down so I jumped. tore the top out of my hat. limping i got to the house. few minutes later Louisiana John Poteteet showed up in a cab :) God Bless John.
Next day I headed to Vegas, but this time I decided to fly.
