"Lonesome Town" is a song written by Baker Knight. A version sung by Ricky Nelson became a hit single in the United States, reaching #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #15 on the R&B chart in 1958. The song was featured on his 1959 album, Ricky Sings Again. Nelson is accompanied on the recording by the vocal quartet The Jordanaires. Thanks for listening.

Keith Wallin: @starlyter. I used to live in Lonesome Town on Lonely Street at the Heartbreak Hotel. I stayed under the name of Mr. Lonely.. I used to play in the lounge, there, and my most requested song was "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." Ahh it brings back some really happy memories, I tell ya!.....lol. I used to watch Ozzie, Harriet, Ricky and David every week! The highlight was Ricky at the end of the show. Awesome job on this classic, Brad. Brought back some really fond memories.....:-)

Jerry: @starlyter I booked a room there thinking it was a resort. But no, EVERYONE WAS CRYING! Gota refund and drove to a town without Pity! Took a boat to Margaritavill but none of the drinks were real. Went home and danced with my teddy bear...no place like home I said to my dog as a tornado hit and took me to a wizard. Uck! But YOU are terrific on this song
