"Roll On Mississippi" is a song written by Kye Fleming and Dennis Morgan, and recorded by American country music artist Charley Pride.

It was released in February 1981 as the second single and title track from his album Roll On Mississippi.

The song peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

Honored by the Recording Academy in 2017 with its Lifetime Achievement Award

Three-time Grammy Award winner, including “Best Male Country Vocal
Performance” in 1972.

Keith Wallin: @cash I'm glad you enjoy my singing, Rick and Sharon. I love singing Country songs like this one. Charley had such grace and style about him. Even when he was at the top he'd wonder what all the fuss was about. Such a humble and sincere man he was. He died from COVID 19 complications. There won't be another like him in my lifetime, I'm sure. You guys have a wonderful evening, my friends....:-)
