Roy, I love you. And we miss you. As far as I am concerned he was the greatest male singer of all time. And he had a great heart. Once he found out a British girl was dying and her final wish was to meet Roy Orbison he immediately jump on a plane and flew to be by her side. I grew up with his songs. As a kid, I was playing one of his songs and singing and dancing to it. It was on the second floor of an apartment with the window wide open. A famous race car driver was visiting his sister who lived next to us. I can't remember his name now but he was with a friend. I did not notice because I had my back to the window dancing and singing my heart out. But as I turned I could see them both dancing outside my window. Man was I embarrassed! I immediately stopped singing and dancing, shut the window and curtains, and turned off the record player. Most embarrassing time of my life. But yes, Roy influenced my life then and even still today. Here I attempt sixty years later to sing one of his greatest. I hope I honor him with this feeble attempt. Rest in peace Roy.
