Merry Christmas to all! We're visiting in Dallas for the holidays (4 hours from our town). We went to karaoke at a bar in Deep Ellum called Elm Street Saloon. It was ok. Very small. I sang "Heartbreaker" by Pat Benatar, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee, "Last Chirstmas" by Taylor Swift, "Feliz Navidad" by José Feliciano and this one. There weren't many people in there at first, but slowly the crowd built. I wanted to finish with a big song, so that's why I chose this one instead of another Christmas song. Karaoke started at 9pm. We were originally going to stay until 11:30, but it was very cold and uncomfortable, so we left about 10:30. I sang a lot for such a short time. They only have metal bar stools that aren't super comfortable. Otherwise we would have stayed a bit longer. I kind of blew out my voice with this one, though, so it's just as well! :) Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! This is probably our last trip to Dallas because we're moving to Long Island in the summer (hubby has a new job).
