Johnny Cash recorded this, back in 1964, on his album "Bitter Tears".
His view of Custer put into song.
Adapted by Q for you, and me.

Jerry: I hope you like trivia...you see all Custer dishes got their name by cooks who loved custer. If you tell anyone this little known fact, please, do not tell them I gave you this information!

Jerry: Custer was very devious, but his wife was absolutely true to him and defended his reputation until her death. Good woman...good song and recording but...bad Custer.

Qwilleran: @jerry As a child, watching westerns where the Indians are bad and palefaces are good, but, in reality the palefaces were just as bad if not worse. Thank you, I have no claim to Indian blood, I do however have it in my tree. My tree is made of almost everything, including the kitchen sink.
