One day in 1881, the Tombstone Epitaph,
a booming newspaper in a booming silver mining town,
screamed out the headlines about a fight at the O.K. Corral,
right down town.
The headlines read
"Murder in the Streets of Tombstone."

've spent some time in Tombstone, Az. while training in Army...a great, fun place! I almost got in a gunfight there...but we just used our fingers pointing at each other. You find the coolest songs and redo them so cleverly and wonderfully!

@jerry I have been to Tombstone, AZ and Dodge City Kansas. I have been to over 200 fields of Tombstones, headstones, grave markers. Have not been to Boot Hill, they charge and I'm too frugal to pay to see graves, historic or current. Thank you Jerry. Don't let your boys grow up pointing fingers, they may be expelled from school or playgrounds.

Haven't been to Tombstone or any of those old shootout towns that I recall. Graveyards are not my cup of tea either. But the stories told and retold do have an interesting capture of one's imagination. Another nice one Q.

@starlyter I visit them as time allows and travels. It's depressing how many are ill kept, broken stones, unreadable. "Gone but not forgotten" is one of the most used phrases and it's not true as those that weren't forgetting are gone too. Thank you Brad.
