I first recorded this song many years ago but never get tired of doing it again. This recording uses the backing track from the Clay Aikin version. The following is the writeup I provided with my first recording. It still applies today.

"There are certain things during my life that without fail, give me chills each time I experience them. Those include many things very special to me, including but not limited to looking at my children's pictures shortly after their birth, the music of our National Anthem and our flag draped from its pole waving in the breeze, the visual of a service member reuniting with his loved ones returning from overseas, and this song. It makes no difference if someone else is singing or I am singing myself. Christmas is fast approaching and news highlights capture the ornamentation of all that surrounds this blessed day, but this song captures the true meaning of my Christmas and those that share our beliefs in Jesus."
