Happy New Year! I love Anne Murray songs, and of course I used to also love the Monkees version of this song. I have a cold, but I'm OK. I wanted to try singing some low songs that, normally, I can't sing without raising the key or notes. My voice deepens when I have a cold. I was hoping to go to live karaoke this week, but both nearby places have the same KJ, and he canceled both gigs (guess he's sick, too). Anyway, hope you enjoy this! I recorded it on SingSnap, not in my usual way, so it's using my laptop mic, not an external one, and it's recorded "as is" with no mixing. Oh, and the dog started barking because my husband came in the door at the end! LOL! So you can tell, this is one take only, a live recording. :) Let's hope 2025 is a great one!
