It is the last song to be recorded by Campbell. The song was nominated & won the Best Original Song at the 87th Academy Awards. It also won the Grammy Award for Best Country Song.
The song by design is simple, yet, for me, it doesn't diminish the profound meaning of its significance. i've only recorded the lead vocal, only three takes over one day. Truth to be told, it was a heart-rending experience while singing the song, understanding whoever is facing this ailment soon all will be lost.......
