Hi, everyone! When we were in San Diego, I found a place downtown (in the Gaslamp District) that has a live karaoke band playing each Thursday. It's called Whiskey Girl. I sang 3 songs and had lots of fun.

They had a pretty limited playlist, although I was told that they're working on getting more. They also don't do any of the harmonies. The woman that hosts it (forget her name) did sing the harmonies with me on my other 2 songs, but I guess she didn't know this one. Singing with a band, of course, is very different from singing karaoke. I made mistakes in all 3 of my songs....I doubt anyone in the audience knew it, though, unless they had the song memorized. The nice thing about singing with a band is that they will work with you and help you cover up your mistakes. :) The band played the songs much faster than they were originally, so that did throw me off a little.

I've sung this song many times in karaoke. I only knew a few of the songs on their list because they're mostly recent ones or guy's songs. BTW I used a great free tool at https://restream.io/tools/audio-extractor to extract the audio from my video. Works great.
