I was born and raised in the mountains. Riding up the Mt. i ran face to face into a cougar, they get old move in closer, can't catch deer so eat cats and dogs, lambs. Well as jerking out my gun.. Hollering at my horse run run,, kicking,, she refused to try to run down a 30 degree mountain. She knew cougars don't try to attack full grown horses, so down the mt. we went horses butt on the ground, but going fast as she dared, it screamed so loud the earth almost shook, we got home, that night it killed my dog Rowdy.. God Bless Rowdy he was my friend...
.
I'll let Billy Hill sing this one.
