Back in 1995, Lynn and I lived in Great Falls, Montana.

Each year, the city would barricade the streets downtown to prevent automotive traffic and only allow pedestrians to walk in the streets.

The event was called the "Christmas Stroll" and would allow people to shop in all the stores that stayed open late at night for this special occasion.

To ward off the chilly air, the City Bar would make up their own made from scratch batter for hot buttered rum and Tom and Jerry's.

They were delicious!

Taking into account all the sights, sounds and smells of the occasion, I began formulating the melody and the lyrics to this song,

I finished it with my guitar when we got home that night.

In 2010, I asked Joyce to create a backing track of it after I sent her my a capella version of the song.

Joyce did an awesome job and I sang along with her backing track.
