Me & A Beer" is a country anthem by Chris Janson, released on April 25, 2025, as the lead single from his album Wild Horses.

The song follows the country tradition of suggesting a cold beer can solve life’s problems, from social anxiety to a hard day’s work.

Janson’s wife suggested he return to the "feel-good territory" of his previous hits like "Fix a Drink."

Janson noted that writing these deceptively simple, breezy anthems is actually more challenging than writing heartfelt love son

The track was co-written by Nashville hitmakers Ashley Gorley, Andy Sheridan, and Taylor Phillips.

The music video:, directed by Janson’s drummer, Josh Daubin, features summer party vibes and camaraderie.

The entire album was recorded "old school" in a cabin-studio on Janson’s property, often accompanied by cigars rather than heavy drinking.

While fans long assumed Janson was entirely sober, he clarified during this release that he isn't an alcoholic but simply stopped "hard partying" after getting married to focus on his family.

He still enjoys an occasional drink but preferred to move away from the "party guy" image.
