Back in the late 60s, I sang in a band named "The Royal Relations." We name it such because there were guys from Cuba, Japan, Mexico, and, of course, me, as an American. As the band was formed late in our high school years, it split up, with each of us going our own way to make a living. I joined the United States Air Force and never saw my bandmates again.

But just before that, we were invited to play for a Catholic school, and our lead song was this song. Long story short, as we played, more and more kids came to listen and sit down below us. They were really "digging" the song and started dancing in the aisles. The nuns came, unplugged our amps, and demanded we leave the campus immediately. We played other gigs and really enjoyed it.
