"Two Lonely People" is a country song recorded by Moe Bandy, featured on his 1978 album Love Is What Life's All About.
Written by Tom Benjamin and Ed Penney, the song is a classic honky-tonk ballad about two lonely individuals meeting at a bar, reaching the top 10 on the country charts.
The song was released on the Columbia label as part of his tenth album.
The lyrics focus on a bar setting, where two people find companionship over drinks.
"Two Lonely People" is listed as a major song in Bandy's late-1970s, high-charting career.

On a business trip years ago, I met Moe. I checked into the hotel, and heard a male singing in the lounge. I stepped in and there he was.I introduced myself, and told him I was there (in another town) at his show when his agent informed him he got him a new recording. He asked if I'd heard him scream for joy that time, and I told him yes. I like most of his music and he was a nice guy. A great rkecording here Keith!!

@jerry That's cool that you got to meet him and get to know him. Back in the late 70s, I sang with a band called Alias Smith and Jones. The bass player was Voda Mae Smith and her husband, John Jones was the lead guitar player. They would get gigs all over North Texas and Lynnand I would travel around with them and they always let me sing at every venue. Moe Bandy had a whole slew of songs and we sang quite a few of them. Appreciate the listen and the commentary. Have a great night….:-)
