Years ago, a lovely, charming lady (never met) sent me this track asking me to sing it for her. She lived in California but grew up in (I think) Kansas. She was blessed with wonderful, sweet personality. I told her this song was way away from my ability. She kept encouraging me so one day I promised to try it for her. Last I knew of her, she'd fallen down several times (once breaking facial bones from a fall at her mailbox), and I've lost her name and phone number. She may have left us by now, but this is a tribute to her, as tears well up thinking of her lonely life. I sing this hoping, somehow, she hears it and knows I still think of her and say a prayer for my friend!
