Blue on Blue" was composed by Burt Bacharach with lyrics by Hal David. It was first recorded and released by Bobby Vinton in April 1963. It was backed by Burt Bacharach and his Orchestra, that took Vinton's single to number 3 on July 6!
Bobby is very much alive @ 91! Born Stanley Robert Vinton on April 16, 1935, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, is best known as “The Polish Prince”. He retired from performing in 2015 after contracting shingles, but remains active in other ways, such as appearing in infomercials and radio shows Remind Magazine. He married Dolores, whom he wed in 1962, and they live in Englewood, Florida

@cash I don't know that fellow Mr. Cash. Now, if it was I singing, I'd be lucky to have two comments. Wait, does '2' still come after '1'? I am lucky and I thank you buddy!
