A little history: As a member of the weekly "Johhny High Country Music Show" here in Dallas for 8+ years, I met many of the top country artists and performed (once-never again, I was so nervous) on National, cable TV. It was a blast every Friday night, always sold out @ $20 a ticket. We had a 12-member, professional, outstanding, band. The long running show ended when Johnny passed on. He and his show was known all over Texas...a great man! The "Marty Robbins' song" song I sang on national cable TV was: 'A white sport coat and a pink carnation'!
