Written in 2011, by this Qwirky fellow. Perhaps a bit long but could have been longer.

Karaoke;

Here's the thing,
about a karaoke sing

We may sing flat
We may sing sharp
We may lose the key
yet we'll have as much fun
as a football and a monkey

We'll sing too loud
We'll sing too low
Maybe to fast
We might sing too slow.

We may scream like a rocker
trying to sound like Joe Cocker
We'll sing soft and we'll sing low
Crooning like Barry Manilow
Harmony, we'll try that too
A duet, of me singing with you.

What we'll sing;

and shake, we'll rattle and we'll stroll
There's walk like an Egyptian
But it's still rock and roll,
To me

We'll sing of melodies unchained
and of mountains too high.
There will be songs of clouds
and clear blue sky.

We'll sing of good times
We'll lament of the bad
We'll sing songs for our mothers
We'll sing songs about dad.

We'll do;
Melodies from the movies
Hits from the stage
There's old songs and, new
and songs of the latest rage
There could be a comedy tonight
There could be an aria from an opera.
of the phantom of the night

There could be a story told in verse,
Songs sung A Capella
There could be things far worse.

Some will sing classics
Some will sing high class
Some will sing trashy songs
Some will sing about,
the green green grass
and home.

Country songs;
Like D I V O R C E
Songs about love and marriage,
Going together like a horse and carriage.
Songs of lost love and love so right
Songs of; walkin' and talkin' after midnight.

Western songs;
of a home on the range with tumblin' weeds
of ridin' and ropin' and fire breathin' steeds
six-guns, quick draws, and a hangin' tree
and not be buried on the lone prarie.

Children's songs;
of animals that fly,
of lions and tigers, oh my
life down on the farm
funny songs and songs with charm

Songs from fairy tales;
of romance and levity
songs of beauty and beasts
happiness and tragedy
Palace balls and feasts.

Songs from a foreign land;
of Ireland and Spain
of Scotland and England
about the heather and the rain.
Songs in German, Swedish and more
Italian, Spanish, languages galore.

There'll be holiday songs;
to wish a merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year
Songs of remembering and
Songs of good cheer.

Music of Easter
songs of praise
Hymns and carols
Where the voices raise

We'll sing with feelings
and oceans of emotion
We'll sing with from the heart
Songs of devotion

We'll tell Laura, we love her
We'll bring in the clowns
Love will be tender
There will be pityless towns

We'll sing about Monday
But, never on a Sunday
Sunday the one day of rest
the night's of Friday,
the one we like the best

Girls and boys
sang to by name
word from the grapevine
and the waiting game

planes Trains,and bicycles for two
Racing cars, hot rods, deuce coups too
Cadillacs, Fords and Corvettes of red
Driving slow or with a foot of lead

[breezes in trees
and favorite bars
and the bees knees.]

There will be songs of national pride
Songs that speak of;
Anger, rebelion and war
heartache and heartbreak
and so much more

We'll sing;
Loud and proud
long and strong
We'll sing the blues
We'll sing of blue suede shoes

We'll try to make the house rock
maybe put a tear in someone's eyes
we shall ignore the clock
and likely tell some lies.

You know,
there will be;
happy songs
songs of sorrow
Songs of yesterday, today
and tomorrow.

We'll sing of
Mary Ann, Peggy Sue, and Mabeline
Danny Boy, Diane and Clementine
We'll waltz with Matilda
We'll sing about, which once, was mine.
Songs of Angels and devils,
wind beneath wings
and other heavenly things.

There'll be;
Patriotic
Idiotic
Strange and exotic
Songs of the land
Songs of love, written in the sand
and songs of the sea.
Songs about you,
Songs about me.

There's more;
There's songs of the rich
and songs of the poor
There's even a song about a green door.

There's Songs about cost.
There's strangers in Paradise
and paradise lost

and then - and then;
Songs of fighting and of drinking
Drunken songs, songs of thinking
[hic]
Wine, women and song
Songs of inebriation
and songs of celebration

Songs of the Earth
Songs of myth and mirth
Of dying and of birth

Songs about a city or town
They'll be uptown and down
and all around town.
Songs of;
Laredo, Galveston, New York, Chicago
and Detroit City
The city of New Orleans and Kansas,
where the girls are so pretty

Where we're going, where we've been
What we'll see and what we've seen.

Cute songs of;
Calendar girls and girls in bikinis
Hawaiian chants and chanting wahines
suftin' safaris and slicin' sand
Walkin the beach and holding hands

Songs of snow and glistening
And songs for listening
Songs of the Beatles
and love bugs that bite
Tulips, daisies and roses
Hair, lips and noses.
all of these, I supposes.

And when the song has ended, we'll pick another
and another and another.
