Adaptation of Walter Brennan's version of Rex Allen's song; "Don't Go Near the Indians". I've combined the two for my purpose of sharing the story.

The story takes place in Cochise County, Arizona. That being the place the chief Cochise lead the Apaches and is buried somewhere in the Dragoon mountains, where he held the army off until there was peace agreed between them. The movie, "Broken Arrow" (western) tells of his leadership and friendship with Tom Jeffords lead to the peace treaty.
