I seen to much of this, at sea,, ships go down , finishing vessels go down... Lost my Partner Bob God Bless him, he took a friends boat out for a shake down cruise ,, didn't make it back...

Lost a couple friends a year,, I was in the storm of 78 we lost 8 or 11 boats... seen a ship go down a couple times..
But don't feel sorry for them,, they would have been bored doing anything else , they died doing what they loved,,
Whats it like to stand at the wheel in 100 mph winds an 60 ft seas.. well ya figure the sea is gonna win this time..
ya are relaxed an have no fear, thinking sea ya ain't won yet, even when the guys think yer all already dead,, ya do everything with no mistakes... in a 60ft sea,, when yer in the troft your looking up at a wave 120ft high, ya light another smoke an hold the wheel tight ...

No one is sure why the Edmund Fitzgerald went down,, i looked at charts,, an he went over a shallow place, no more than 40ft deep.. i think coming off a wave he hit bottom an split some seams...

They played this song in every water front bar i ever been in,,, this is take !.. id do it a bit diff.. but its a long song,, so take 1 it is LOL
