It was a different time, yet not so different from now; the Vietnam War would wind down a few years later, but this was my first year in the military, and of course I got stuck right in the thick of it. Luckily my partner was my patrol dog and saved my life countless times. There was protesting in every major city, civil unrest and a whole lot of new drugs. But some really cool music too. The Temptations never failed to deliver.
