Sonny Throckmorton from Carlsbad, NM wrote it and George Strait recorded it in 1985. It reached Number 3. George used it to close out all of his live performances. Brooks and Dunn sang this song for a show where numerous artists sang George's songs in tribute to him back in 2009. I added the background harmonies Brooks and Dunn style.....:-)
