My dear friend Arlett ( Art ) passed away,
I guess I learned most of what i know about a guitar from him..
62 yrs ago we had a little group.. sometimes just Art and me.
He was born in Tennessee, and moved to Oregon at 7yrs old.
we always called each other on the phone often all these years and
I started to look for a picture, I never had one, I could always see him the
last time i seen him, in my mind... that was 50yrs ago.. He wanted to come visit me.
we had planned on going over to Tennessee to the town he was born..
This was his favorite song,, i sang and picked along on this one many yrs ago.
ill put in a picture of my Tennessee flat top box...
I miss not hearing Art do the singing.. he was good ..

@jerry yep Art being gone is a shock,, he was only guy i had left to talk to about the good old days,, my last contact in Portland OR... he always kept me informed how anyone we knew was doing , if the old coots would get computers they could tell me themselves heh heh
