"Everybody Loves a Clown" is a song written by Snuff Garrett, Gary Lewis, and Leon Russell and was recorded by Gary Lewis & the Playboys for their 1965 album, Everybody Loves a Clown. The song reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1965.

Keith Wallin: @abbygail25 Hi, Gail! This video was from Hullabaloo with Jerry Lewis hosting and his son's band performing. Usually, the artists were surrounded by hot Go Go dancers and after assuring his son that there were going to be pretty girls surrounding their band......the result was they were surrounded by pretty girls a little younger than they were expecting....lol
