I am a man of faith but sometimes it gets tested very strongly
by occurrences that happen in life. So I wrote about one of
them.

@sierrajohn Each day is a test it seems, faith or not sometimes things are just hard. I feel this and just love it. Well done my friend ♥

@sierrajohn Interesting John. The most depressing part of a cemetery, is the lack of care for the memorial, be they the young or the aged. I've been to many in the last year, photographing headstones. Some of the occupants are aged and some were in their infancy, some have flowers and/or knick-knacks, but many are broken and forgotten. Best believe the place gone to is the best life has to offer. Do like your writing.

onefortheroad The genius you are looking for is Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pray to Him and He will answer. I, too, have had my doubts at times but, my Faith has always pulled me through. I agree with Rich. Too many of our cemeteries have not been tended to properly. It's a shame! This was an inspirational piece. Thank you for that, John!....:-)

@sierrajohn I've listened 7 times straight and each time I feel like I am missing a piece of something in these words that you are hinting at conveying. I wonder if I am projecting my own feelings about graveyards, solitude, and death onto your poem. And that's nicely done, because poetry that speaks to all of us and says something different each time is quality top shelf writing. I'm in awe. thank you for sharing.

@tonishow You are a very astute reader Toni because that is exactly what I seek to project. What settles over the indivifual reader is certainly my goal. Thank you kindly like always.
