Happy New Year! I was trying this one out tonight...it came out OK. I might have to re-do it again. It's a bit low for me.

I used to have some good home karaoke machines, and the last good one I had, at least 10 years ago, was a VocalPro, which I loved because it made me sound so good. Then when that one gave out, I really didn't want to spend another $400 or whatever it was, so I tried getting cheaper home machines. Most of them are fine for parties or practicing at home, but they're not great for recording (sound-wise). My last machine was about 5 years ago, and it didn't record well, so I had to start recording to the computer instead. It's fine, and I get a good recording that way, but I have a lot of CD+Gs and I miss having a good karaoke machine that I can have fun with, and friends or family can visit and play with it, etc. I was hoping to have one to record, as well, so I put one on my Christmas Wishlist that was under $200. I was happy to get it, but it doesn't record well. I should have known better. Anyway, I can still use it for a few other things.

I haven't been recording much, but I hope to start doing it regularly now. This was from a karaoke disk I had, so I was able to use the new karaoke machine to record the track from the CD+G, at least. Hope you enjoy it!
