Back in the summer of 69 this hit was highlighted during the movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It had a special meaning to me way back then and always stuck with me all these years. Vietnam was going strong at that time and I was in the pipeline to possibly ship out after my tech school was completed at the end of that year. Vietnam never came to be for me and I was shipped out elsewhere until the war ended in 73. Lot of mixed emotions go along with this song for yours truly.
