This song was released in 1962 on Faron's Greatest Hits album.

I first learned this song in 6th grade at Phalsbourg AFB, France. My Dad was assigned to the 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron, part of the 366th Tactical Fighter Wing. On the 16th of July, 1963, the squadron rejoined the 366th Tac Fighter Wing at Holloman AFB, NM.
