Happy 87th Birthday to Elvis! The King! Honestly, I didn't hear his music much growing up (we listened mostly to the Beatles and other 60's and 70's rock/pop), but I started watching his movies later on and really liked him. I've been to Graceland as well as to Tupelo. I even have many Elvis collectibles, including a Velvet crying Elvis painting :)

Hope you like my song! Recorded May 8, 2017. Funny story about this song. One day in the late 80's, when we were living in Normal, Illinois, we were listening to a Chicago radio station. They had a call-in contest where you had to sing an Elvis song. So I called in and sang this song, a capella. I won! Well, I think only one other person called in, and the prize was for something we couldn't go to because it was in Chicago (we didn't live close). Still, it was fun to win! For imitating Elvis! LOL!

I was down in the dumps today, but singing has lifted my spirits. Hope it does the same for you!
