Me, and Bonnie Tyler, got the husky voice after surgery on our neck/throat. Sure glad I got my voice back, I couldn't really sing this back when she had her hit!

onefortheroad I think you sound great! In the last 2 years, I have had a quadruple bypass heart operation and they had to do another operation on my left lung after the heart surgery. So hang in there. It took me what felt like a decade to be able to breathe well enough to sing again. Super song choice and awesome performance, Toni.....:-)
