"Let's Keep It That Way" was written by Curly Putman and Rafe Van Hoy in February 1977. It was first recorded by Tanya Tucker in 1977 and then in 1978, Anne Murray included it on one of her hit albums. In 1980, Mac Davis recorded his version that reached the Top 10 on the Country Charts.

I'm using Mac Davis' arrangement and backing track for my recording.

Mac Davis said in an interview when asked how he knew he had made it as a songwriter. His reply was " When Elvis Presley records one of your songs." He wrote "In The Ghetto."

Keith Wallin: @jerryThanks, Jerry!. The first time I heard this song, Anne Murray was singing it. With her former teacher persona and wholesomeness that she projected, It seemed strange to hear her singing a cheating song. Mac Davis, on the other hand was a real horn dog....lol This song suits him to a "T"....lol Glad you enjoyed it....:-)
