CREATING WITH AI....

First, yes AI may well be dangerous, but not with the musical use of it. Using AI can be very helpful to produce songs your artistic sense steers. You start by describing what you want. Perhaps something like this..."swamp blues, slide guitar, male vocal, guitar riffs", You can elaborate more, adding in there should be backing vocals, strings, sax, piano, whatever you like. Then it generates a song. You may listen to 100 before you like one. Then you can trim and change parts of the music. Of course, ideally you are providing all the lyrics and steering the arrangement. This is not much different than sitting around with a guitar or at a piano and just noodling around to find what catches your fancy. But this will produce a full version saving you an enormous amount of work to even do a modest version of the song. This is a very good thing and allows people to easily create compositions they could not have dreamed about doing before (I don't know about you but I don't have a 12 piece horn section laying around, lol). It still is tapping into their creativity if it is used that way. Sure, you could toss in some lyrics and generate one or two songs and just go with that, but you can also curate and manipulate the music to a great degree. I have spent hours, even days doing each of the songs I've done. It's not for everybody but it is truly a breathtaking breakthrough in creating music.
