We went out to karaoke tonight while visiting friends and family in San Diego. We come out here once a year and have a karaoke night. It was great fun! We went to a place called Full Circle Saloon in Santee. I sang mostly songs I've never sung in public before. I felt like challenging myself. Here's the first one, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen. A bit too low for me but came out all right. The pants I'm wearing are an art project. I'm taking a painting class, and our final project was to paint something that is not regular canvas. I chose these old pants that I love (very comfy and flattering). I fixed the bottom, where the cuffs were all frayed, by adding flowery fabric. I bought some acrylic fabric paint markers at the Blick Art Store. I also found some great patches of Van Gogh paintings. So I painted some Van Gogh flowers, and one of his self-portraits, and some lyrics from the song "Vincent." I added lots of iron on patches of flowers and other stuff. I painted other things, like my dog etc. The back is all 60's-like hippie stuff, Flower Power, Peace, All You need is love, etc. It was a lot of fun! Hope you enjoy my video.

I don't see the description I typed. Hmm...

@suzanne Hi Suzanne.. The play button decided to work. Perhaps my computer froze due to a update. Seeing you in the bar brought back memories . You really rocked it girl!!! I thought it sounded great.
Suzanne Lanoue:
@dondelray Aw, thanks so much, Don! We were visiting our family and friends in San Diego. We always have a karaoke night. It was a lot of fun! I decided to try some new songs that I'd never done before.

Thanks so much, Mark! Glad you got it working... BTW my "hippie" pants were for an art project for a painting class I took this semester. It was a just an old pair of jeans that I really liked, so I drew/painted all over them, added fabric, patches etc.
